Olga Zabelinskaya made her comeback a total success by winning the Thüringen Rundfahrt. Two great riders completed the podium: Edita Pucinskaite was second and Noemi Cantele third.

Davy D'hollander is the only Chicabiker with those three riders. He wins the Rundfahrt and one stage and moves upwards to spot number 5 in the general classification. The other stages were won by Mark Vanderwegen, Thomas De Belder, Alexander Van de Sande, Jaak Decoster and Bert Van Wehaege.

The second place in the Thüringen Rundfahrt was for Sebastian Lohse, which brings him in the lead for the first time this season. Wim Mahieu drops into second place, only four points behind Sebastian.

Noortje Tabak surprises in Ankara and becomes the new European Champion. In Chicabike, it's Ernst Van Looveren who will wear the blue jersey with 12 stars on the next 12 months.

After the domination of Ina Teutenberg and Marianne Vos, the end of the Giro was all stars and stripes. Evelyn Stevens won the mountain stage to Albese con Cassano, while Mara Abbott showed that she was the strongest rider in the race in the two following mountain stages. Finally, Shelley Evans also won the last sprint. Mara Abbott wins the Giro with Judith Arndt and Tatiano Guderzo next to her on the podium.

Sebastian Lohse dominated the Giro d'Italia in chicabike. He won two mountain stages, the final ranking and the total ranking. Davide Ronconi ends in second place and Rik Deprez in third. Giuseppe Cristiano and Karel Kellens won respectively the stages on Thursday and Sunday.

In the overall chicabike ranking Wim Mahieu still leads, but Giuseppe Cristiano is coming closer. Sebastian Lohse moves into third place.

The third chicabike period started last week with the first stage of the Giro d'Italia Femminile, the most important stage race of the year. Until now the race has been dominated by two riders: an impressive Ina Teutenberg won the first four stages, afterwards Marianne Vos took over by winning the next two stages.

In Chicabike, Karel Kellens sprinted two times towards victory. The other stages are won by Gilles Gatta, Dick Soepenberg, Rik Deprez and Manel Lacambra. Gepke Veenstra is wearing the pink jersey after 6 stages.

Emma Pooley is by far the most successful rider of the month. She now added the Tour de l'Aude to her palmares. Ina Teutenberg took three stage victories in Southern France.

Lots of winners last week, stage victories for Gibi Vanassche, Geert Speelman, Sebastiano Cipriani, Bart Hazen (2), Manel Lacambra, Albert De Jongh, Wim Mahieu, Karl Valkiers and Yannik Roose. Karl Valkiers won the GC of the Tour, beating 2 chica legends Michel Verbeke and Davy D'hollander.  On his turn, Michel Verbeke is the overall winner of the Tour de l'Aude.

Wim Mahieu takes the overall lead in Chicabike, with a comfortable margin on Giuseppe Cristiano and Dick Soepenberg.
